Terms of service
Last updated: 18 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of this website and to services provided by Laurelworth Digital. Each project is also covered by a written proposal or agreement, which takes priority if anything conflicts with these terms.
Quotes and proposals
Quotes are based on the scope described in the proposal and are valid for 30 days. Work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately and only carried out with your approval.
Payments
- Projects normally require a deposit before work begins, with the balance due at agreed milestones or on completion.
- Invoices are payable within 14 days unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Monthly services (such as store management or support plans) are billed in advance and can be cancelled with 30 days' notice.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide content, feedback and access to accounts in good time, and to confirm you have the rights to any text, images or materials you supply. Delays in feedback may affect delivery dates.
Ownership
Once a project is paid in full, you own the final designs, code and content created specifically for you. Third-party software, themes, plugins and open-source libraries remain subject to their own licences.
Third-party platforms
Services may rely on third-party platforms such as Shopify, app stores, payment providers, suppliers and affiliate networks. Their terms, fees, approval decisions and availability are outside our control.
Liability
Services are provided with reasonable skill and care. Except where the law does not allow it to be limited, liability is limited to the fees paid for the relevant project, and does not extend to indirect losses such as lost profits or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Website content
The content on this website is for general information only. Project examples are shown with the context available; some details may be simplified or kept confidential.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
